Thanks for the feedback. It's indeed not finished. We used it more as a decision making scene with the client and the polish wasn't done.

I could supply a scene with the new Pro license I guess alsthough I wasn't able to find anything about a .exe for their contest. All people seem to submit videos.

Hi Michael, are you sure that videos are allowed?
http://3dawards.cgarchitect.com/rules

"Real-Time
This category is meant for any work that has been created using an application or plugin that facilitates real-time rendering AND user interaction. (Some examples of this type of software are Quest3d, Twinmotion, RenderLights, Lumion, Unreal Engine, etc.) Near real-time rendering engines like iray or QuickSilver do not qualify for this category."

In other words, if you use Lumion for rendering videos, each frame takes a few seconds in 3 star quality, so isn't that more like iRay/QuickSilver, i.e. near real-time rendering?

I guess we should ask Jeff Mottle to clarify whether they want Lumion Scene + Library files, so they can inspect your scenes in Lumion - or if videos are acceptable. If the latter is the case, we need to know what constitutes an acceptable render-time per frame in order to qualify as a real-time rendering engine...

Real-Time Submission Rules

You may submit no more than 5 projects per company, person or group.
Your project must have been created in 2011 or 2012 or made public in 2011 or 2012. Any projects determined to have been created before this will be disqualified.
Submissions must be sent as QuickTime MOV or MP4 Videos. You should use a software like Camtasia or other screen recording software to record the interface and navigation through your real-time scene.
If multiple real-time projects from the same company, person or group are scored in the top 5 for the Real-Time category, only the highest scoring image will be selected.

With near-real time they name Iray and others because some people mess up the terms. If Lumion is named then it's for real time category. Last year Lumion videos were okay too.
Too bad you can't win with Lumion in movie category...all te cg vids are very great.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up, both of you :)
