The guys at Lumion have probably made such test, what is the limiting resource for Lumion?
I don't know if such as test has been made but Ferry and Remko can probably shed more light on this.
Does Lumion have a similar reference? That is as one is building a scene they can view what the stats are for what they're producing to know if they are entering a 'red zone' that could overload the program and prevent further development.
Ferry has previously mentioned that showing how much memory your graphics card is using isn't accurate, so they decided not to display this. The frame rate and the total number of triangles however, is displayed in the top right corner if you turn on
Settings -> Enable Frames Per Second. Just bear in mind that everything in the scene is rendered twice due to shadows, and the total triangle count includes that.
(If you would like more statistics to be displayed in Lumion, for example draw calls or other factors that have an impact on performance, please post your suggestions in the Wish list section to make sure that they are read by the right people)
