Hi,

I have registered, to see some info on your forum if there will be a mac version available in short time? Or perhaps you will never make a mac version? :-)

Please let me know, because i think you have a nice softwarepackage, only i have the wrong hardware :-)

Many thanks

Hi, I'm not from the team, but I can say that there is no Mac version, there is no planned Mac version, and they have no intention whatsoever of ever creating a Mac version.

The reason, AFAIK, is that Lumion's graphics engine is built on DirectX, which is Windows-only.

I quote from the FAQ:

Is Lumion available on Mac?

Lumion only runs on a Windows operating system. This means you cannot run Lumion in OSX. You can install Windows on your Mac to run Lumion. To install Lumion on your Mac you first need to install Bootcamp.

Note that using Lumion on Mac machines is beyond official support. Act-3D gives no waranties and cannot be held responsible or liable for any unsuspected behavior of Lumion on Mac machines.

I couldn't have said it any better myself - thanks, Miguel :)
