Lumion not running on my Nvidia 650M gpu

I am seriously considering purchasing the new Lumion 4, however I cannot get Lumion to run on my Alienware m14x R2 laptop. My laptop has a dedicated Nvidia 650M gpu and I have set it as the default gpu for the system as well as the lumion.exe program. When I start lumion free, the benchmark is showing a GFX score of 1080 and it is identifying the integrated Intel gpu. If I cannot get this to run on my laptop then I will have to purchase a new desktop computer before purchasing Lumion 4.

Can anyone help me solve this issue?

Hi

Thanks for your interest in Lumion.

The Nvidia 650M has a Passmark score of 1295 which is below minimum specs of 1500 for Lumion (refer below) for the card.  It is possible and some users have lower specs than that, but the key is that you will be extremely limited in what you can try and do.

Don't worry about the mention of the integrated card reference, the Benchmark has to use DirectX and the system only sees that as the allocated card. NVIDIA Optimus will have switched and be using the card as per your settings.
