i think lumion is a great program but i have very big problem with it  :'(
i can't put the material for some face or polygon , for example if i put any material for many faces in sketchup and when i try to put material in lumion for this faces lumion will put the same material for all this faces , so i can't change the material for any of this faces , beacuse if i try to do that lumion will change the material for all , that is meaning i must put the same material in sketchup for the faces that i want to put the same material for it in lumion , but if i have any mistake i must rework again , and my previous work will go down the drain  >:( , is there any way to put a material for faces regardless of it's material in sketchup or any 3d program , i mean put material depending on the face not on previous material  |:(

hi, don't worry, this really works in lumion

but you do have to define every particular material in your skp-model by setting colour or texture,

after changing something in skp you RELOAD your skp model to lumion (collada) and only define changed or new parts of your skp- model.

works well.

regards stan

ps: don't use skp 6 for that, since the collada exoorter changes colours sometimes in the export file. with skp8 there are no problems
