Hi All,  I currently have a Falcon Northwest laptop with a GTX670M for graphics, which runs fine.  I'm looking to make another purchase for a new user, if you have any recommedations for laptop use, please let me know.  Also, if anyone is running any SLI configurations, please let me know if the performance is better within Lumion.
Thanks!

As far as I know Lumion cannot take advantage of SLI. I'm sure the Lumion staff will correct me if I am wrong.

Otherwise, if you are using a 670 then you understand the importance of a good single GPU with lots of memory for supporting large texture images....and you have probably been here..

You will find much on this forum related to the use of Lumion and performance.

....and you can find Lumion testing results here... http://lumion3d.com/forum/general-discussion-area-(commercial-users)/benchmark-results-(v3-1-1)/

Hi [email protected]

As modelhead mentions, SLI is not supported by Lumion. It was investigated at one stage by the dev team.

In all cases, everything is dependent on budgets, but otherwise as always the more performance and VRAM, the better.  Quality of product is also important.

At present the new top of range cards for laptop seem to be the GTX 780M although it's not that much of an improvement (per Passmarks) over the 680M.  I'm not sure about any of the Radeons for laptops though.
