hellooo.. when installing lumion a pop up message appears and it suggest that the set up needs the next disk. it suggests that i should insert disk 1 and click ok or i should enter the correct path. what does this mean and how can i rectify this problem. please help

1) Which version of Lumion are you trying to install? Lumion Pro 6.0?

2) Please attach a screenshot of the installation files, so we can check if any are missing.

thanks for the reply. below i have attached the screenshort for Lumion 6.0 pro that i tried to install. Although i have managed to install Lumion 5.3 Demo but when i try opening it it takes too long to respond and when it opens i cant work with it in a smooth flow it tends not to respond and makes my pc to heat very fast. so i dont know whether i dont have the correct pc for Lumion to operate efficiently. please advice me accordingly.

To advise regarding PC hardware we would need to know what your PC specifications are.

We usually find that the Lumion Demo (v5.3) works well on a range of PC's but not all.  Here's our general guidelines:

1.  Which computer do you need for Lumion?.

2. Which graphics card do you need?

3.  Passmark: Videocard Benchmarks.

It is possible to also request a Trial version that is more recent than the demo.  Trial or Demo Versions of Lumion. 

We will not support members who try installing cracked (illegal) versions, which is the one indicated in your screencapture.  So resort to other versions not provided by Act-3D BV, or not resolving installation of the Demo will frowned on.

We will support members who are legitimately evaluating Lumion for their architectural/CAD/Drafting etc business.

Hi John

Thanks for the hardware details.  Your PC with an AMD Radeon HD7600M is unable to run Lumion, it has Passmark of only 600 to 800, and that is well below the minimum of 2000.  6GB of RAM is also below our specifications. 

You will need to also look at purchasing a suitably high-end laptop if you need mobility as priority.  Or, a suitably powerful desktop PC.  I refer again to the links provided in my earlier post.  If you need further advice, let us know.

How do you intend making an evaluation of Lumion?
