Hello, we are evaluating Lumion for a large industrial project.
We need to realize a 3d realtime of a car factory, with 3 large floors, full of animated robots, animated cars, some moving people, much geometry and many bitmaps (textures, lightmaps and relection maps).
We are evaluating Unity too (we are able to use it a bit, not very well..) but Lumion is so much easier.
We have downloaded the free version but we have a very little time to choose the software, so we would need your help to know:
1 - can we manage so much geometry and textures with Lumion (maybe unloading and loading them on fly as needed, at less for each floor)?
P.S. we will give our client a workstation designed for this particular purpouse, so we can choose the best hardware to let it work in the best way. But, sure, we have to test it on our hardware!!!...
2 - The scene is totally indoor: is it possible to get GI (or at less AO) in a quick way inside Lumion? wich is the quality?
3 - Is it possible to have automatic and exclusive AO for animated geometry?
4 - Is it possible to have localized sounds?
5 - Is it possible to create an interface with text, buttons and so on?
6 - Preferably we should give our client a .exe file, but it seem it's not possible with Lumion: could we give him a very customized interface with icons to move, rotate, change floor, etc (to explain better, without any of the "regular" icons for Sun Brightness, Ambient Shadows, etc)?
7 - At least, could we have a quick support (maybe with an extra payment) to solve hard development problems very fast?
Thank-you very much!
