I have a problem imprting a simple climbing plant, modified from the google wharehouse, Lumion splitsit into bits and rotates them. Screenshot shows best attempt so far, have tried exploding a lot of the nested components, then grouping as a whole, if too many are ungouped the file size gets very big, any ideas of a fix?

We found found that group in group in group,... with flipped and rotated objects the collada exporter from sketchup is doing wrong exports.  What you can try is to explode the objects  as far as possible and make it 1 group, reexport then.

also you can try .fbx export. it helps a lot with huge models like group in group in group in group in group in group in group...and there will be no exploded models in Lumion - it will be a single model
