Hi BRodrigo

Welcome to the Lumion forum  :)

Sorry to see you are having installation problems.  This is a rare case, and we have not yet been able to fully identify why that has happened to a few customers, other than it happens from the download.

Attach a screencapture of the downloaded installation files, should look something like pic1 attached.

Please uninstall Lumion again using Windows Uninstall from the Control Panel.

If the file sizes do not match those in pic1, then you will need to download Lumion again, as there are one or more files not properly included in the download.

When Lumion installs, make sure Lumion installs to the \Program Files folder, and not \Program Files (x86) (pic2).

It's also possible some AV, or other security or monitoring software, is blocking certain files from being correctly installed.  What AV etc do you have on your PC?  You can try turning those off to see if that helps with the install.

Would you please add your Lumion 5 license key to your forum Account (click here, scroll to the bottom and enter your license number).

Already installed in several ways 86 program and program files but the same error!
I try put the register  but * The license does not exist, is not valid or is already registered to this account. Please check the license and try again. Educational licenses cannot be registered

Hi Bell

So you have previously used Lumion v4 and successfully installed Lumion in the past OK.

Your downloaded files list was same as my screenshot then?

We have had a few users with AVAST that reported issues recently.  Can you check t see if there are Quarantine or other reports regarding Lumon files since trying to download.  Those users were able to run Lumion by setting AVAST to recognise Lumion as a Safe Application.

You may need to turn AVAST off and try one more time to install.  See: treetoplake post in  4.5.1: Channel not found in installation skippind load routine

Hi BRodrigo, what were the replies to Peter's questions?

Question 1: So you have previously installed and run Lumion v4 in the past without problems?

Question 2: Your downloaded files list was same as Peter's screenshot? Please double-check that the file sizes are identical.

Question 3: Did you turn the firewall and Avast off before re-installing Lumion 5.0 as advised above? (Turning them off when running Lumion may not be sufficient)

If so, the next step is to follow these instructions, i.e. reset Internet Explorer's settings (even if you never use this browser).

Question 4: What is the result of the LOGINFAILED test when following these instructions?

The final step is to keep Avast turned off and then try to start Lumion again (an internet connection is obviously required when you do that).

Please also forward the Educational license key to Peter and I via email (morten [at] act-3d.com and peterm [at] act-3d.com), so that we can double-check the license entries with a colleague who is in charge of the license server.
