I am new to Lumion and i think it is probably the coolest out there. i however get very  frustrated with rolling, orbiting and panning with the camera in Lumion. Holding down the right mouse to swivel does not give me the desired orbiting i am used to in 3dsmax, sketchup and autocad 3d. Changing a view from ground level to aerial of a model could last me 2 minutes because my models goes out of view or does not show side of the model and the field of view distorts the model.
I am doing something wrong? Is there a camera plugin that can be used to over-ride Lumion's? The  up/down, left/right arrows are however reasonbly efficient.
Any tricks to overcome this would be greatly appreciated.

If you haven't done so, then check out the Tips and Tricks FAQ, a few of those might be useful.

Navigation is different and takes a little time to get used to, but is just as effective for moving around, although there's room for improvement and you have less features to learn about how to get around.

The best tip for getting around related to how quickly is to use the Shift key which speeds up your motion in the scene.  Also check your settings so that you have Fast motion turned on.
