Hello I am looking for a few more people to test the Lumion beta and help us out iron the last issues.

What I am looking for in a beta tester is someone with a reasonably good 3d card, time, sketchup user and not behind a corporate firewall so we can get the trial server working.

Please post your interest in the beta and your system specs and why we should let you try Lumion today.

Ferry,

I'd love to try Lumion as a beta tester although my main 3D modelling software is Softimage (2011 Subscription Advantage version). I have a Mac Pro (dual booting into Windows XP Pro x64) with 2xQuad core 2.8 GHz Xeons. My Graphics card is an nVidia 8800 GT with 512 MB RAM (so at the low end of your spec, I'm afraid). I am a freelancer and so should not have any firewall issues. Please get in touch if this spec is of use to you, I am very keen to test drive Lumion for the architectural visualisations I do.

Richard.

No problem, both format have been supported for many years.

Autodesk also has the Crosswalk converter, I'm not sure if this can be made of use to you but it freely translates between Max, Maya and Softimage in a format that links the scenes between each application; changes made in one are reflected in the other. I know it has an SDK but I don't have any experience with this part, I'm afraid. More info can be found here;

Just a thought, not sure if it's useful?

I am a part qualified Architect, run a real-time modelling company and I have used sketchup pro for many years… no firewall problem…i7, 4gb ram, gtx285

I have also been testing TM2 (check TM forum for my help regards their software), Octane and Vray gpu – and now have plenty of time to help – I would really like to help you out with feedback and resolving any issues.

HI,

I like to become betatester for Lumion. I'm working with architecture and visualitation company. We used 3D Max + Autocad + Sketchup.

My specs:

- i5 4GB

- ATI Radeon HD 5470 1GB

Reason:

Currently we use Unity3D for fast rendering task (preview purpose only) but after I see the lumion video I like to try lumion especially for outdoor scenes.

And I already show the videos on our company meeting and we hope there is a chance to become reseller in Indonesia.

Hi, i'm interesting on trial this software. I'm an architect and i work with Allplan, Sketchup,Cinema 4D, 3dstudio max, Vray and i'm interesting the interation with Vray materials and Lumion. No problems with firewall.

I'm also interesting for the "Theater mode" function and quality level  for speeding up rendering on low-end machines.

I7 860 2,8 Ghz

6 GB Ram

Windows 7 64 bit

ATI 4870 1Gb

I would like to try Lumion beta, so i can see the benefits of working with the interface and workflow and find any weak points so they can be fixed, i,m a freelance 3d architect located in Mexico, so i need the best tool to present previews and final renders of architectural projects, i already bought a few months ago Matchstudio from Studio GPU, but i haven´t received any update in several months and i´m disappointed with this company about the quality and workflow, that´s why i found your software googling, and to the date it´s the best one in the market.

My pc specs are:

2 dual processor quadcore t7500 with 24 gb of ram ddr3

Dual Quadro FX 4800 total 3 gb ram ddr3

2 tb of main hard drive

Dual 24" dell monitors

Well, i´m just waiting the release of Lumion to buy it, but i want to test it, so when is purchased i can start delivering real projects, please let me know if i can test the beta.

Greetings from Mexico.
