I see they took a few hints from TwinMotion in regards to populating scenes easily and animating in large scale  :)

Nothing like a bit of competition to produce a better product  :)

I can finally upgrade from Lumion 3 Pro and gladly pay the price.
Doing a 3 day render curently and sure am envious od that 50% render speed increase.

Preview shows Lumion has matured a lot, but i feel few more things are needed to make Lumion the only choice for architectural Visualization.
1) SSDO: Screen Space Directional Occlusion(Contact Shadows).
2) Tessellation
3) Area Lights

Rest you Guys are really doing good. I am into Realtime Visualization in Cryengine. Just waiting for these to be addaed to Lumion and I will Grab a Copy of Lumion.

Please Check this link for SSDO

There is a video out there with over 100,000 views that includes a famous/innovative architect that is using Lumion.
Grab a copy of Lumion.

my clients like my work. I tried it with free version of lumion but was not satisfied. My Client either did not dont want me to change. but with these feature Lumion will be so powerfull that it will outcast Vray & even Cry Engine.  Attached is my sample work.

When posting images that compare engines could you please state the engine these images are made with ? Since I see clip maps for trees/bushes I suppose there is some postwork on these, which makes it a bit hard to compare things :)

Hi Studio4d, thanks for your feedback. SSDO is a little limited compared to at least one newer ambient occlusion algorithm we've come across. Not only in terms of quality but also in terms of speed.

Its 3DS Max & Vray.

Why you are posting V-Ray sample images on the Lumion forum? They're pretty but everyone here knows what V-Ray renderings look like :)

Or am I missing something here? If you want to compare Lumion to V-Ray, it's probably better to post comparison renderings of the same scene.

First two images posted by me are By Cry Engine 3.5. As far Animations are concern Cry engine can produce better than Vray. So can Lumion if u r realy working on such algorithms which is even better than SSDO. All the Best to such a hard working team.
