Sorry if this has already been asked, had a check on the last few pages and can't seem to find it, will there be a trial version for the latest version of Lumion 4.0?

Yes, there will be a Trial version for v4.  The focus initially is on the licensed versions and getting those available, then the trial version.

We will advise when it's ready, it might be some days.

Great, yeah I've got the free version at the moment and everyone seems very happy with the results on some fly throughs that have been produced for an industrial job.

Peter, just to quote that it will be in some days not a couple of months as 3.0 was in realizing the demo. We are going to upgrade but I sure would like a test run if it comes out before we do upgrade.

Well, when I say 'some days', it's sort of a general vague phrase    to cover anything from here on for a while (but not eternity  ). 

I think v3 took a while due to the nature of the v3 upgrade, but this time I would expect things to be much quicker.  However it does depend on the dev team and time required to attend to post-release issues, and as yet no timeframe is supplied.

Have enquired, and well, no specific timeframe as yet, focus is on the released version. 

It's likely to be at least some weeks away  , but don't quote me on that   

The dev team understand the different uses made of the Free version, and appreciate the need to make something available as soon as they can.
