Will the new 3d grass feature in Lumion 4 be terrain related in that it will need to be painted onto Lumion terrain only for procedural purposes?  ...or will we be able to use it as a material on any imported meshes ?

Hi jimmy3d, if you turn on Grass in a scene, it will be applied to one of the 4 landscape textures in the native terrain section. It will also be applied to an imported model if you assign the Landscape material to the model, and paint it with the right landscape texture (one of the 4 textures). Just bear in mind that the grass will only be applied to the 'highest' surface with the Landscape material, so you can't stack multiple surfaces with grass on top of each other.
