No, it will still be 2048x2048m in Lumion 3.0.

See this thread for more information about the native Lumion terrain (Search for 'terrain'):

I need to get some work done now, so for the time being, I won't have time to reply to any more questions about whether XYZ is in Lumion 3.0 :)

I like the idea of reflections and of course global illumionation - but I wonder about the performance. Will this increase the rendertimes dramatically, or what?

No, this will not be available in Lumion 3.0.

However, there will be a new function:

New 'Load/Save material set' function: You can now save materials in a scene to a file, and then automatically apply those materials to another imported model provided that they use the same material names in your 3D modelling application.

hi lumions, found this info ....THAT IS FANTASTIC......one step further in the ui-improvement,
thanx for that.
now multiple models are easy to manage

btw: is this going to be a text-file with numeric assigns to named colours ?  if so, one could easily make own sets and manage them outside lumion with an xternal text-editor....

thanx, stan

I rendered the above image in 12 seconds 1080p on my gtx580.
It has 3 reflection planes and GI set on 50 or so meters with a very large falloff.

Highly unlikely.

Does this mean we will be able to apply a movie / film / news (as MP4 texture) to a TV set? This would really bring internal scenes to life. Perhaps you could even have a setting to allow you change channels by changing the screen texture. Just a thought. ;)

Could your mp4 just be a bunch of different clips put together in one file?

But the render time isn't based on the processor's speed?
