Rendering in the background is an absolute essential!

Please look into the possibility of this..

Thanks

Rendering in the background is now possible correct?
Score another one for the developers.

Yes, however we do need to wait to get the full information as to the background capability, i.e. is there a rendering performance cost.

That probably depends on what you are doing while Lumion is rendering in the background. Checking emails etc doesn't seem to affect the render time significantly on my PC.

What surprised me in a good way is that I can run another 3D application such as the Unity3D webplayer while Lumion is rendering in the background :)

there's also another issue that pained me, we use the application  "LogMeIn" to access our workstations remotely from home or on the go.

however LogMeIn........

Alternative is if you have the PRO version or another application that has Remote File Manager, you can check the frames saved and rendered (if you render frame by frame which i think is the best & safest option) to check lumion's progress.

That's is what I do, check remotely the frames, but if the movie is very large and heavy, maybe LogMeIn do not recognize it till its finished, be care about this.
