I am experiencing problems with manipulating the landscape within lumion.  currently when i try to raise, etc the landscape within lumion the linked collada file disappears.(see below of before/after).

also it has been very difficult/not possible to manipulate the landscape in a fine enough scale/detail to have the landscape form to the shapes needed.  ie; the landscape tool does not decrease to a small enough size and speed.

your help is appreciated,

Try locking (modify object> position> lock position) your models before fiddling with landscape height. It might help.

I agree the minimum brush size is way too big right now. Not sure on how small it can be made without yielding odd results.

The smaller the minimum size the better imo.

By default objects are linked to the landscape so when you raise it the object moves with it. Like Aaron said, you can just lock the object to ensure it stays where it is.
