Author Topic: [Awaiting Reply and File] Invalid Key Message When Trying to Start Lumion Trial  (Read 611 times)

from email:

An invalid key message appears on screen when Lumion starts up.

I was finally able to get the pro the activation key has expired. Would it be possible to extend this key or provide another?

Previously the download did not complete, but changes to the firewall allowed the download or complete.

We had some firewall issues that have since been resolved but in that time the activation key expired. Please let us know how we should proceed to get the trial started.

I am attempting to download the trial of Version 7. I keep receiving this error each time I run the installer: Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the Getting Started email.  I was able to successfully download, install and run the Trial here.  So that indicates there is still something blocking access or preventing Lumion from running.

Please follow these steps:

1. Please click on this link. Does it say "The license server is running" or "LOGINFAILED"?

2. Please zip + send the 'hosts' file from "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" to [email protected] Thanks in advance.

3. Does it work if you temporarily turn on Windows Defender and then temporarily turn off your 3rd party firewall/anti-virus software before running Lumion?

P.S. If you'd like to receive an automatic notification when we update this topic, please click on the 'Notify' button below this post. Thanks in advance.

We cannot be held responsible or liable if step 3. above resulted in damage to your computers/software/network from an outside or unknown virus entering your system.

ps: Are you aware that there are two Trial products?  You may want to consider evaluating Lumion with the full Pro Trial.  It has all features and content so gives you a full access to Lumion rather than the cut down and limited public Trial.

There's some more information here: Is there a Trial version of Lumion?
