Hi shedking, are you using Lumion 7.5 Trial and SketchUp 2018 or 2019?

If so, the problem is that Lumion 7.5 Trial was released before SketchUp 2018 and 2019 existed.

Unfortunately the SketchUp developers changed the .SKP file format in version 2018 and 2019 which made it incompatible with Lumion 7.5 and older versions.

To resolve the problem, simply save the .SKP format as a SketchUp 2017 file in SketchUp 2018 or 2019 and import that version in Lumion.

Alternatively, I'd recommend testing Lumion 9.0.2 Pro Trial as you can import .SKP files that are saved in SketchUp 2018 format in that version of Lumion.

Here's how to get it:

Thank you for that.  I noticed if I check the 'import animations' option it works just fine!

Good to hear that.

Which version of SketchUp are you saving your .SKP files to?

I am using SU 2018. I did notice now that it is not necessary for me to check the animation box anymore.
Also youmentioned that the trial version of lumion9 is available but it says I have to be referred or recommended by
Someone to do that?
