At the moment, you can't import bone animations or vertex animations, so it would be impossible to render character animations in Lumion. What you can do is to import move/rotate/scale animations from 3DS Max with Lumion Ultimate and Lumion Free via FBX. However, they are planning on expanding the animation capabilities in Lumion Ultimate - this functionality will also be available separately as an Animation plugin for Lumion Basic users later on).

Cool.
I'd love to see a proper boner vertex animation.

Have we got any further with adding bone vertex animation capabilities? I need to add an animated golfer to a fly through and though i am no expert in max i don't think i can achieve it via move scale and rotate.
