Hello Guys  from the support,

I downloaded from  an animated character in dae   format and tried to import it to lumion.   Import as new model works fine, but no animation of the moves are there, despite i hooked " import animation ".
Where is the mistake, and how to import such third party content in the best way

thanks for your support

Tips and Tricks and specs "Import model -> Animation on/off button: This function lets you import move/rotate/scale animations ..."

Lumion does not support import of skinned, vertex animations, morphs.  Perhaps one day.  Library character models animated are specially prepared and use Point Oven point cache data.

For more details please browse through the Import board or search for animation.  Morten explains in some more detail in previous topics than I can.

Many users have requested support for better animation, we live in hope.
