I'm sorry but in writing his application in the "Demo, free trial or educational version" I thought it was clear that I use one of these versions.
Hi lebleuetok, by 'version', we're referring to the full
product name and
version number as shown on the
Settings screen in Lumion, i.e.
Lumion,
Lumion Pro, Lumion Demo (available via the
Try link), Lumion Trial (7-day fully functional version from resellers),
Lumion Educational Free or
Lumion Pro Educational. Examples of version numbers are 5.3, 5.7.1, 5.7.2, 6.0, 6.0.1 and 6.3.
So to answer your question, I use the "free trial Lumion 6" version
So is this the 7-day fully functional 6.0.1 Trial version that we offer via our resellers? Is it also that version you used for rendering
?
As for the Quick Start Guide I did not find an answer to my questions because the link is not working.
It's working fine here. Which error message did you get?
In any case, information about importing heightmaps is also available in
this Knowledge Base article (if you want to use the Lumion terrain modification functionality).
Alternatively, just export the terrain mesh from
World Machine in a format that Lumion can import, for example DAE (Collada) or FBX format. This model will be static but you can assign a
Landscape material to it and paint it just like a native Lumion terrain.
