I have 10 trees. Can I select and copy all of them?
Absolutely, press the CTRL-key while you drag a rectangular selection around the 10 trees.
Then press the ALT-key and click + drag one of the small circular tree icons to the new position.
This method is also explained in the Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts
The program tools (rotaion, move, scale) are not user friend. For example, I select some object in your library, I put in the plan and I want to continue. But object rotaion is different the fisrt one and I want to control object rotain but is not possible.
Certain models in the Model Library
such as trees are rotated randomly when you place them. This is to ensure that they don't look like 100% identical copies.
If you want all trees to be rotated the same way, I would recommend using this method:1)
Click on the Context Menu button2)
CTRL + rectangular select all the trees that you want to re-orient.3)
Click on the small circular icon of the tree with the rotation that you want the other trees to match.4) Context Menu -> Transformation -> Same Rotation
If you want all trees to look 100% identical, simply place 1 tree in the scene and ALT+copy it as described above.
Have a nice weekend.
