What's your GPU (aka Graphics Card)?
The GPU is the most important thing when running Lumion.

Any recent high-end NVIDIA card would be good.

XFX AMD Radeon HD 7870, 2 GB GDDR5 256-bit

Your Radeon sounds fine, the 7870 is rated fine at videobenchmark see FAQ: LUMION 2: Minimum hardware requirements and above the minimum and has more than the min 1GB VRAM so 2GBVRAM will give you more ability with more detailed scenes.

GeForce GPU's tend to work a little better than Radeon with Lumion but there's usually a slight pricing difference as well.

There's plenty of users on this forum who have mentioned working well with similar or less and Lumion, just a matter of managing things if you have complex scenes.

Suggest: always the most powerful for the budget you have.  At the moment that would be a GTX 680 with new ones having 4GB VRAM.

By the way, power supply can ruin things, 600W is not really good enough for high end GPU's.

Nvidia recommend a 550W power supply as a minimum for the GTX 680:
http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-680/specifications

But Peter is absolutely right: If you have a few USB devices connected to your PC, some PCI cards etc, always aim for more Watts than the recommended minimum. You will experience a lot of problems that are really hard to diagnose if your power supply isn't able to keep up with the demand from your graphics card.
