How to switch on a light during a movie

I have one question if you please can help me...

How can I switch on the light during a movie? Like this for example: http://lumion3d.com/forum/gallery-best-works/elementary-school-animation/

Hi NickFury87, you need to place the light on its own Layer in Build mode.

Then show/hide the layer in your video clip using the Show/Hide Layers effects.

Unfortunately not.

If you have access to a 3rd party video editor, I recommend that you render two versions of your clip (one with the lights turned on, and one with the lights turned off).

Make sure you render the 2 versions of your clip as image sequences (PNG format = best quality and the lowest file size).

Then fade between the 2 clips in the video editor to make it look like the lights are fading in.
