How to Render a 'SHARP & DETAIL' image ?

I'm new for Lumion. I'm currently working on a personal project and try to Render in Lumion. My 3D was produced by Google SketchUp and imported the Collada file into Lumion and tried it out.

However, the final result was so bad. The details and edges of the spaces were all gone. It is like too 'SMOOTH'. I'd tried out the setting but seems did not worked.

Can anyone help me out ? I'd attached a 'SHARP & DETAIL' example from the Lumion Gallery as well. The picture can be referred as below.

Million Thanks ~~ !!

Hi raybulouz, try reducing the Ambient Shadows and Ambient Scale sliders.

What I would do is to add a Lumion material or at least a texture to your plain white walls, and a couple of 360 degree lights to add a bit of contrast to the room (place the lights in areas where the sun hits surfaces, e.g. the floor).

You probably also want to add a Standard material to the ceiling and increase the Brightness slider so it is less dark.

I know you are using Lumion Free 2.5, but in Lumion 3 it is possible to enhance the lighting automatically with the Global Illumination effect.

I do not know when the developers will release Lumion Free 3 though, so it might take a while :)

To get a sharp image you have to use the movie or image mode. not the viewport.
I also tend to us a sharpen filter with 10-20% in photoshop (or any other free photo tool). I think the regular lumion output is too smooth too. But its easy fixable with the little sharpen step. :)

Alternatively, if you want to avoid using Photoshop, just use the Sharpen movie effect in Lumion.
