How to get the corrct NCS-color in Lumion?

How should I do to get the correct NCS color (i know the matching RGB) with a underlay of a concrete wall. Even if the RGB is given correctly in the material editor->RGB, the darker concret (by default) is creating a wrong result which I don´t want to have.

Is my only solution to crate the correct colored facade material in photoshop and then add it in Lumion?

Hi Joacim, I assume you're trying to tint one of the concrete materials in the Lumion Material Library.

The colour selector in Lumion tints the texture of the material by multiplying each pixel on the texture by the RGB value.

So, unless the texture is pure white, the resulting colour will never be the same as the RGB colour value.

All you can do is to try to compensate for the impact of the texture by increasing the Brightness slider.

There's an interesting tool at this site Color Blender, but I don't think it's the same as multiply, as can't get the right final result.

I did try placing two quads/planes overlapping and then just matching using the palette so that the overlap is not noticeable.  This worked  (reasonably) and only took about 10 seconds to get close.

You need to use an empty scene with no ambient light or shadow impact on the final look.  Set the Sun Height to midday, F1 for no shadows, use the White New Scene and to remove lighting from the Sky a hemisphere should be added.

Thanks a lot for the answers.

What i did was to download the NCS-matcher in photoshop, then typ in the NCS-code, copy the #number and paste it in the lumion colour scheme.
Afterwards I adjust it a bit with the brightness, though it was hardly needed.
