Some users do use lights but it does not provide the best result. Cove/Linear lights has also been suggested by members and is on the wishlists.
Most members use a non-spotlight (work-around) method to emulate the light using an emissive material. You need to create a gradient (black and white) texture in an image editor (such as Photoshop), apply that texture in your 3D modelling application to the surface, set the surface in Lumion to a Standard Material
and then set it's Emissive
. The Emissive will then brighten the white of the gradient, giving you that faded out lighting look.
There are some detailed steps available but those are by members in the Commercial Section of the forum, which unfortunately you do not have access to.
