Hi Severino
We have some Dell wokstations (4 T5400, 2 M6500, one T7600...) and I have spent a lot of money in quadro cards (4000, 5000, 5000M, 5010M...) and was thinking in a new invest buying a Quadro 6000, but having tested all quadro cards with lumion we opted for buy GTX series 580 (Gainward Phantom) with 3Gb and recently a 680 (Gainward Phantom) with 4Gb.
We decided to use Quadro cards for other vectorial software and dedicate those GTX cards with Lumion. Anyway, We've had some problems in one T5500 with GTX 680 Phantom and we don't know which is the problem, maybe new drivers aren't still optimized.
In my humble oppinion, don't spend your money if you are only thinking in use a Quadro card with Lumion, and of course not a Quadro 6000 which cost is over 3.900 USD, But if you are still interested in Quadro 6000 I can tell you where buy it with a reasonable price in USA (PNY brand manufacturer).
regards.
