We are about to invest in a GoBoxx G1840 and are wondering if Lumion performs just as well with a Quadro 5010M 4 GB as it does with a GeForce 680M 2GB.  In past benchmark tests, the GeForce has generally outperformed the Quadro while rendering in Lumion even though it is much cheaper in price.  The reason we are leaning towards the Quadro is this laptop will also be used for 3ds Max and Revit purposes and we have experienced better results with the Quadro card.

Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!

If you need the quadro for other tasks the choice is simple. The render time won't kill you anyways in Lumion. The only difference is speed. Laptops in general are not that good in 3d gfx. A cheap pc with a $100 gfx card probably even gives better results. I think we should publish some standard benchmark on our website so people can compare and grade their own computer.
