Interesting then as to what might determine features in future Lumion versions.
How is a 'small number of customers" determined and what constitutes a reasonable interest in a discussion item or specific wish list topic that would then escalate the item up the list and get noticed?
I see in
development-inside-info-show-your-vote that this item had a very small vote % but then again the repsonse seemed quite low for the overall poll. Key thing though is that it was one item against clear items of preferance re having lights.
Should polls be arranged for every wish list item?
In regard this specific one, seems to me and as you mentioned, its really a given, Lumion should have it, not only for professional terms of the software with accurate sun and shadow studies, but its a time saver, so long as there's still flexibility to set pos and height separately, so heres my +1 +1 +1.
re topic:
TOD - Time of Day/Year Geographically correct Sun locationI think we all agree that this feature is essential for carrying out sun studies in architectural visualisation software <img src="/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif" alt="Smile" />
This feature was in fact planned for 1.0 but didn't make in yet, so the "Sun study function (with longitude/latitude input)" is already on our internal Functionality Wish List (This will become a sticky post soon).
Seems this one has maybe slid down the slippery pole of planned features?
