I understand there are free licenses for students in the USA.  Are there free licenses available for teachers in the USA?

Kind regards,
David

Hi  David

Thanks for your interest in Lumion.

Please follow the link in our Knowledge Base Article: Is there an educational or student version of Lumion?

Thank you for this reply.  The student licenses do not appear to be available to teachers/faculty/educators who are teaching the software.  The student license request of Lumion requires verification though sheerID.  Are teachers/faculty/educators eligible through this program too?

Hi deg112

The article has a link to the Educational page for schools and universities.  When you complete the online form, one of my colleagues from our main office will contact you via email to discuss options.

In terms of product and version, please see the article
Quote
..This is the only educational version of Lumion that is available from version 8.0 and onwards.

The current version is Lumion 8 Pro Student.

In other words both educators and students get the same product, although we may refer to it with different names to simply identify who is using the product.

Does this help answer your questions prior to applying for educational licenses?

ps: please note our main office opens 8 January although there are staff monitoring emails, so it may be a few days before you receive a reply.
