Hello,

I use a program called deep freeze which restores my computer and keeps it running good. One major problem I am having with Lumion is that I cannot change the location of the files. I have a partition on my drive where the files are not changed when my computer is restarted or shut down. I would like to save my Lumion files to this partition without moving the "my documents" folder. Is this possible?

thank you,

-Eric

Hi Eric

Sorry, but no.  Using Windows redirection of the full My Document folder is the only way to redirect the files elsewhere.

I'm not sure I understand the need though.  I have only briefly read about Deep Freeze, so please excuse my ignorance on this matter.  Lumion files in My Documents are user files, the changeable files from edits and updates.  If you place the Lumion files in that partition you would see the changes for your work until the partition was 'thawed' and re-Frozen.  If that re-instatement (thaw) happens to your PC daily on restart, then are you not going to loose all the work you did from the point of the last Frozen state, ie yesterday?

The Lumion installation files, installed to \Program Files would be OK to be in the partition though.
