Hi there,

I couldn't get my license info today (our IT department requires a couple of days to complete this kind of request), but in the meantime I was hoping I could get some help on this.
I'm using Revit 2016, the latest bridge exporter and Lumion 6.5. I attached images of the errors I get while exporting from Revit and while trying to import in Lumion (an actual .dae file is created despite the error while exporting). I've searched the forum, but couldn't find a similar issue. Any idea what the problem might be? Thanks is advance!

Hi albeatkins

No problem  :).  Once you get it from them, just add it to your forum Account, so that you get full access to the Support Center, topics and resources.

Thanks for the clear explanation and screenshots, that makes it much easier to analyse the issue.  :)

Please attach to a post a screencapture of the Revit To Lumion Bridge settings.

We'll need to check the Revit file, so please send us the Revit file, and an LS6 Save Scene and Models.  Refer  How do you upload files for import/export questions?

Thanks for the quick reply Peterm. Actually your answer made me check back on the bridge settings and check "Geometry visualization". That alone never really affected the export process, so I didn't think it would this time either. Anyway looks like that solved the problem. Thank you for the hint!

Hi albeatkins

The Geometry Optimization setting tries to do some very special processes on the model.

Of course anything that creates an error during export is something we should look in to.  Setting the Geometry Optimization setting should not create or resolve an error unless there is some underlying problem that needs resolving either with the model or with the export process.

To that end, you are welcome to still send us the files for investigation as mentioned in my previous post.

ps: and also to do your registration once you get the license from IT.
