Hello again, Aldoren.

For example, if i add the snow effect, i get snow everywhere, inside as well as outside. Is there a way to distinguish what is what?
No, that's not possible, and the same principle applies to the
Rain effect.
Light seems to shine through slabs when i use the omni or fill light. Is there, like in the previous question, a way to make the light shine only within the room i Place it in?
Below is some general information about the 4 types of artificial lighting in Lumion 7.0:
Omni Light: The light from an
Omni Light passes through objects - this is a known technical limitation. It only lights up surfaces that are facing the position of the
Omni Light. This light type renders extremely fast, and is ideal for areas that do not require very accurate lighting, e.g. farther away from the camera.
Fill Light: The light from a
Fill Light passes through objects - this is a known technical limitation. It lights up all surfaces, regardless of whether they face the position of the
Fill Light or not. This light type renders extremely fast, and is ideal for areas that do not require very accurate lighting, e.g. farther away from the camera.
Area & Line Lights: The light from an
Area/Line Light passes through objects - this is a known technical limitation. It only lights up surfaces that are facing the position of the
Area/Line Light, but renders very fast and is ideal when lighting larger spaces.
Spotlight: The light from a
Spotlight does not pass through objects. However, you need to render an image or a video before the shadows from
Spotlights are displayed (or select the
Spotlights or press F8 to preview
Spotlight shadows in
Build/Photo/Movie mode). This is done for performance reasons. There's more information in
this Knowledge Base article.
