hello,
yestarday a tried out some shortcuts from the list (faq).

i could not manage following:

when i copy element (f.e. birds) by

(ALT) + Move selected object(s): Copy-paste selected object(s) by pressing ALT while dragging one of the selected objects,

i have lots of elements without their own conroll-point (existent or visible).

how can i delete them again individually?

using a selection-rectangle will somehow select these elements after trying a while, but i cannot find a system.

so the question is: can a somehow select an element by clicking on the element itself (like in lots of other programs) without needing the controll-point?

thank you.

stan

Is the correct model category selected in the lower left corner, i.e. People & Animals?

(CTRL) + Drag with Left mouse button: Rectangular selection tool for selecting multiple objects.

hello,

1. yes, right category selected, i even tried all the inserted birds one after another (which works for select - similar objects very well, but then ALL of them are selected, no way to delete one particular).

the point is, that for lots of birds i could not find the selection point

2. and yes, a tried this rectangular selection, in that case you can select more birds at once, but no way for one special, where the contol-point is not visible.

so again my question: is there a selection-tool somewhere for ONE OBJECT directly ? i look at the objects, when i work, and would like to select them directly by clicking on them.

any way to do it?

thank you. stan

Ah, I understand what you mean now. When the Trash object button is selected and the mouse cursor is on top of an object selection icon, the corresponding bird is not highlighted (in rare situations), so you have no chance of knowing which bird you are deleting.

Also, when you use CTRL + Left-click drag for rectangular selections, the circular object selection icons disappear.

I have now added this report to the bug tracker list - thanks for your help.

Press SHIFT + CTRL + Left-Click on the circular object selection (you currently have to click twice), to select/de-select a single model.
