Hi How can I cut a hole through mountain, the move terrain down tool fails to create a hole it just pushes it down?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi

Cutting of holes through the terrain is not a feature currently available in Lumion.

You would need to create your terrain with a tool that supports that, and then import is as a mesh via Import Objects.

First post! Been admiring the work done with this software for a while.

Just popping in to see if there are plans for switching to a voxel based terrain any time soon? I see it in a lot of games now and think it would have great value for this visualization tool.

Hi vertigo1

That's an interesting option.  Voxels, now that the techniques are getting more solid (so to speak  :-D ) could be an option to be considered.

As regards plans; for various reasons it is not suitable, nor is it a practice of Act-3D to indicate about what might/might not be available in future versions.

Sorry, I appreciate that's not an answer, but until a feature has been developed, tested and is in release, it is best not to provide any sort of indication about it's likelihood.
