i am new in Lumion and i am trying to create an animation for a hotel that me and my teammate have designed. The problem is that when i try to dig a hole the whole building is going down. how can i make this hole without the consequenses? (sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language)

Your English is fine.  :)

Simply lock the hotel or any other object that is placed on the Lumion terrain so that it does not changed when the terrain changes.

The auto-position change is there for those situations where it is helpful for objects to have their height adjusted if the user needs to make later changes in the terrain, but not when trying to push away terrain to basically remove it/clear it for something like a basement etc.

To lock (in Build Mode):
1. click on the Context Menu button
2. select or click the object
3. click on Translation --> Lock Postion --> On
