Did something change from Lumion 5.0 to 5.7, to make the glass not able to get decent color to it? I need a bright orange glass and I keep getting a muddy orange NOW?

Would you please register your Lumion 5 license key to your forum Account (click here, scroll to the bottom and enter your license number).

The changes to the Glass material in updates since V5 (see Release Notes) should not have affected the Colorization.

Please attach to a post, so we can see what other settings might work for you, either:
1. A screencapture of the material settings and RGB, or
2. Save the Glass material to a material file (LNM).

Also if you can provide an example of the bight orange you are wanting to attain, then that would also help.

as for the issue. I installed the glass 5.3 hotfix and the problem got better(I did jump versions from 5.0 to 5.7). Is this something that should have happened? the hotfix made the glass look better but still not as good as 5.0 (see attached images)

Hi jarods350z, thanks for the screenshots.

For future reference, you should never install a hotfix made for one version in a different version of Lumion as this may cause errors.

That being said, the glass material does look more saturated in 5.7 after you've applied the hotfix. However, I was also not able to get the same saturation level as in 5.0 when testing it in 5.7.2.

In other words, we'll forward this issue to the Error Tracker so the developers can investigate the problem.

P.S. I'll need to move this thread to the Commercial Users' forum as soon as you've registered your license.

Update: The glass looks fully saturated in Lumion 6.0, so the developers already fixed this issue in the upcoming new version.
