Hi all,
I'm Mechanical & Structural Engineer and I'm new to this Domain of work (Architectural Visualization). I need help pricing the Lumion project, i did put some major points that surely effect the price range such as: size of project, number of models, duration, resolution,...
However, I thought that i might benefit from the big experience of many members here who are really professionals and have been working in this domain for a long time.
So please can anybody help in presenting some major points in pricing the projects and the price range?
Thank you all,

BMcIsaac

I'd like to be able to give you a formula but there isn't a good one. You have covered the important items. Two things come to mind, how fast do you model (and what modeler are you using) and how much money does you customer have.  If you want repeat business you have to make the price fit the budget of the architect...i.e....if you charge too much he will only visit once in a while. If you make it very reasonable he will use you for every project. If you think one drawing is worth 500 bucks then you are not living in the Lumion world....Lumion produces many images quickly and so it is hard to price by the image.

In the end it is always about time and your time on a job is about your skill level.
You will find your value grows the more time you spend building and you will get more comfortable estimating your time on a job with practice.

Today artists get an amazing head start with Lumion. My best customer does not get other quotes anymore. He would if he could find another person using Lumion...lol.
