Greetings,

   I have the free version and have used it in the past on another computer about a year ago.  I downloaded the newer free version but cannot place my model in the scene.  I have the small image above the icons on the lower screen but when I try to click and place the model (bounding box) it won't place.  I have tried clicking many times even right clicking but the model won't place. ANy ideas on what is going wrong?
THe model was a 3DS brought into and exported from Sketchup as DAE.

Thanks for your interest in Lumion.

Please confirm which version of Free you are now using.  It should show Lumion version text in middle, top of application window bar.

Is the model centered near or at world centre in SketchUp?  The model is importing because you get the small image used in the imported objects library.  So it sounds as if the actual model is far away from the Lumion pivot/placement point.

I will check on 0,0 placement in SU.  That may be part of the problem.
