Can't create a 3D movie in the trial version of Lumion 5 Pro

I've got this 7-day free trial version of Lumion 5 Pro. I'd like to produce a stereo, but I couldn't find the advanced setup for 3D movie anywhere. I've seen people's posting, they have a "stereoscopic 3D" under "MP4" but I don't have it. Is it because this is a trial version? and is there any way to try out a stereo movie before purchasing a Lumion 5 Pro?

Hi zhangyuenan

Thanks for your interest in Lumion.

3D - Stereoscopic is an effect (used to be an output type in earlier versions to 3).

Click on Entire Movie (the effect is only available as an Entire Movie, not as a clip) --> Movie Effect tab --> Stereoscopic.  See attached pic.

Merry Christmas, Peterm :)
We chose the stereo movie effect, but when exported, it becomes two separate videos for left eye and right eye. Is it possible to combine them into one?

Hi zhangyuenan, unfortunately the side-by-side format (where the left and right eye images only use 50% of the normal resolution) is the only 3D output option in Lumion.

Other users have already suggested that the developers of Lumion should make it possible to export full resolution left and right eye images.

If you are interested in other stereoscopic output formats, please provide a link to a page that explains the principle.

Thanks in advance :)

If you want to combine them, then just upload to Youtube and select the 3D format.  Youtube will combine the left-right in to a final video.

Alternatively, there is software that can do that for you; see topic 3D Projection Design in Lumion.
