Currently you will have to export the DDS paint in it in another program and reimport.

The other method is to use the smallest circle to paint. However the current smallest circle is to large for small rectangles. But maybe we can add more shapes to the paint brush.

The easiest way is covered in tutorial 4 I will put online today. You can make part of the landscape in your design package (Sketchup etc...) and then apply the "Rock" material. When you apply the rock material to part of your object it will take the exact color and texture of the landscape so it's very easy to blend your model and the landscape.

So, in this case you make a plane with nice hole for the pool and model the pool in it. Next, you import the model and apply the rock material to the square with the hole in it. Dig a big hole in the landscape and place your model so the square covers the big hole.

For Lumion we decided that all advanced modeling tasks are easier in many of the available tools you use already. This way we only have functionality in Lumion that other packages do not have and we're not trying to replace all the things you already know how to do.

Thanks guys! Looking forward to Tutorial 4 and the proposed square brush would be a welcome addition. Smile
