what is the best way to use the material billboard, or how I can generate my own understand how they work in other programs, but I can not do it Lumion correctly.
or not work on Lumion Free
Can you explain a little more about these capabilities of the pro version eg. "Output for post-processor and compositing software."
(i use the search, but no found information)

work on VectorWorks and model on 3dsMax.
export a simple plane model, I apply the diffuse texture and opacity, in lumion look right but is fixed, if I apply the Billboard Material the plane disappears, (I guess i see is the edge of the plane)

Is the plane centered at 0,0,0, and facing the front view in 3DS Max when you export it (using OpenCollada)?

butt, is necessary the plane fix to 0,0,0 or also serves having its axis at the center base of the plane to rotate on the axis z anywhere, not only at the origin (i use to export FBX Autodesk)
