Hi stucki, wondering what your reasons are for realtime AA re your comment
i would really love to have the realtimeview with antialiasing
.
Is this just whilst you are building, or is it useful for presentational if you are doing Theatre mode presentation to other people/clients?
Having RT AA would be important if/when Lumion provides a runtime output version so that quality of RT is similar (probably not able to fully match) rendering quality.
and for Remko: In which case would it not be a matter of providing some developer/builder settings switch to allow AA and level of AA for build mode and any runtime mode rather than just preventing because of XP? As movie mode rendering already provides one form of AA is it then possible to include access via some settings or is the MLAA just not suitable for any type of realtime usage?
I would expect any AA would have a fairly big impact on framerates and one thing Lumion (and Quest) is good at is realtime performance, however balancing that is the ever present need to increase quality of visuals for end users.
