Animation of an object can be done using either the very basic simple Move Effect tool or the more advanced Advanced Move Effect.
With Move you can do quick straight line paths and basic (partial) turning.
With Advanced, you create keyframes for each new position, or rotation (or even scale).
If you only put three or less keyframes, those will be interpreted as linear and so may not do what you want/expect. Add more keyframes to get closer to the movements you are expecting. Note; to adjust keyframes to a different time you will need to delete the keyframe and create a new one as there is no moving of keyframes in Lumion.
If the Helicopter is one provided in the Lumion Library, that model is provided as is, you are not able to animate parts-of an object.
If you import a helicopter, you (possibly) could use Lumion but you are better to animate the fans/blades in a 3D modelling tool such as Max, Blender or other. Lumion allows for import of animations that are transform animations.
