Animated doors, windows, gates...

Ever thought about animated doors, windows, gates and so on?
It would be fantastic to see e.g. a gate opening while you move forward!

You can do that already. You can not only animate an object straight along a path but also rotate it around its pivot point - the important thing is to export the door (window, whatnot) separately and make sure that its component origin (or whatever it is called in your modelling application) is placed into the corner or whatever you want to turn it around.

Then you only need to carefully place it into its place in Lumion and can start rotating it during the animation.

Anyway, animated objects from Lumion library should be simpler to use...

True - but then they would never fit the openings in your buildings, given that it's only possible to scale models along all 3 axes at the same time :)

That's true, too! It is an old issue I wrote about the height of library trees.
Anyway, animated gates and other exterior elements would be useful.
