Hello everyone,

I finally decided to learn more about the software.

For my project, I have to create a video of a crowded city square with cars & people.
I have spend quite sometime trying to figure out on my own or browsing through the forum, but I have to admit I am not getting anywhere fast.

If someone could assit me that would be really kind !  :D

- First issue I have is that my whole scene is green all the time, all the commands are behind this indicator of some sort and I wasn't able to figure out how to turn it off. Please see attached screenshot.

- When I try to animate characters, they keep disappearing. Am I doing something wrong?

- I found a few I could animate, but I can't erase animation keys or edit them once they are created. How should I proceed?

- The characters are sometimes walking backwards... why?

- Can I import from max, splines to use as animation paths?

Thanks for your guidance! And sorry if I didn't find the relevant topics.

hi,a short story for the moment:

basic animation works , so walking characters and cars can move from a to b

advanced anim. has some bugs, wait for 3.0 / morten wrote in the forum, that also a fix for 2.5 will be released for the advanced animation module before 3.0 comes out

disappearing or turning people = bug

btw. the green area appears, while selecting objects for the animation. it always jumps from object to object, so this way of working is not well programmed

try a selection from another angle

that's it for now. at the moment i only use normal animation for people and cars moving straight ahead.

and : no path import, no spline path etc. so far in lumion

regards stan

Thank you Stan for those precious informations.
I will try using the basic animation then.

For the green area, my whole project is a Revit import so everything is green at the same time, all the time.
It's quite difficult on the eyes.

thanks again!

yes, the green area problem is really one. i also suggested already a "depth of viewfield" - parameter to be able to select only near objects and not all of them , even behind walls and hills....
i wonder, how the 3.0 version works...

Yes, you can delete a keyframe on the timeline by clicking on the Trashcan button that appears when the mouse cursor is on top of the keyframe.
