IMHO there are two big problems of Lumion interface. First is very bad placement of models and objects, about that was written many times.
Second is (that i find during my testing) impossibility to set appropriate aesthetic qualities of view photo or video. Fog and sun and pre-sets helps here partly but main problem is to adjust  level of colours, brightness and other parameters of scene picture to inner vision of  presentation. Default pictures and movies are too hight coloured, puerile and are out of range of a "good taste" or stile of professional presentation. For example you can translate easy milieu of AbuDabi but fail to depict rainy atmosphere of North Europe or Scandinavia.
Possibly it can be corrected by post processing but with big wasting of time and unexpected results.

That is true, but when I am not wrong in the upcoming update there will be a tonemapping tool. I think with this these different atmospheres wil be easier to achieve...

I'm looking forward to the tonemapping adjustments as well, however, in its current state, you can already create an amazing array of atmospheres and light conditions with Lumion.
It takes practice though and my main wish is some kind of better integration of the various adjustment possibilities. I don't want my fog to blow up because I adjusted shadow brightness by 5%.
Just an example but stuff like that happens a bit too often imho. Its great to have layered levels of adjustment and control but somehow I keep having the feeling it could be somewhat more tuned and polished as far as logical behavior.
I guess the moment we can start to save our own presets, exchange them amongst eachother etc. etc., these things will slowly fade away.

I don't agree that there is very bad placement of models. For many situations it works really well.

Remember that the tonemap update is AFTER the final Update 1 So it will take a while.

I am still having selection and movement problems, I can achieve a lot in say an hour then waste another hour say moving some plants, which would have take 2 minutes in Sketchup.
Apart from that its pretty brilliant.
Oh and as said we need to be able to save visual presets, or have some sort of number read out.

There's always room for improvement. The current movement system was designed for direct intuitive placement of items. Placing items more accurate is something we are looking at. A transform type-in would be nice I think.
